The collective agreement is the document that binds the Union and Employer. It is a set of rules that both parties agree to abide to. If the Employer breaches the collective agreement, the Union files a grievance and follows the grievance procedure up to and including arbitration to settle the matter. If you feel that the Collective Agreement is not being followed in your workplace, please contact the union office with details at 604-222-0116 and you will be put in contact with a Steward.
